"My first ever overnight hospital stay"

About: Borders General Hospital / General Medicine

(as the patient),

The care I received was excellent though I could tell that the staff were struggling to deal the demands from the patients.

Hi bb9998,

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your hospital stay in the BGH. I'm very glad that you felt well cared for and that you felt our staff were friendly and the quality of care high. Nationally, we face a shortage of nursing staff however, our senior nursing management in the Borders are continuing to strive to resolve this. We are lucky to live and work in such an amazing place and hope to continue to attract others to work here with us.

In the meantime, I hope that you are now recovering well and that your first overnight stay in hospital remains your last for the foreseeable future!

Best wishes,

Lynn
