"The greatest gift in the world"

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I had my precious baby boy in the early hours one Sunday morning.

Myself and my partner felt so cared for, from the minute we went in to being discharged the next day the care was outstanding.

I had quite a difficult labour resulting in an emergency c-section. The midwives of ward 17 have so much time for their patients, and the ladies in theatre made me feel at ease helping me and my partner every step of the way! We would like to mention Bethany in the Labour suite, kept us both calm the whole time and went above and beyond.

Thankyou so much to everyone at ward 17, Labour suite and Theatre for the special care and attention. We have been given the greatest gift in the world with our son.

Thank you so much LJH19 for taking the time to give us such lovely feedback.

It's lovely to hear you felt at ease during your stay with us and cared for! This is our ultimate goal in what can be a very stressful time for new parents - to hear we are achieving this goal is lovely to hear.

Thank you again for taking the time to feed back such lovely words - I will be sure to share this with the team.

I hope you are settling in to life with your baby boy and enjoying every moment with him!

Claire
