"Parking for long term patients"

Having just had week stay in the n&n, went in as day patient and stayed seven days.

That sort of parking can't be helped, but an overstay car park (old staff car park) cars could be moved to and then issued with a pass to pick up car when leaving, this would free up additional parking for day visitors in main car parks. When I came out in early hours of morning (2am) as I could not sleep I counted over 100 cars? I understand the n&n no longer has a staff car park, and staff to use park & ride. This is a good idea to free up spaces. But I noticed at Colney entrance a lot of consultants parking near the door, spaces needed for cancer patients with trouble walking distances.

Mentioning park and ride, it would also be a good idea to send out passes with appointment letters to long stay patients (like airport Long stay bookings do) before they end up in main car parks.
