"Hand Procedure"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Arrived at A&E Wishaw general with an injury to middle finger right hand, finger was 60% severed, within an hour I had been seen by a nurse, then doctor, then consultant, then operated on to attach the finger, then the dressing applied.

The nurses were Janice and Tammy, I never got the young doctors name but they all did a wonderful job.

Dear happy lyle,

Many thanks for taking the time for posting your experience following your injury.

The staff that you have mentioned do a wonderful job and I am sure that they will be really pleased to read your kind words.

I will ensure this posting is shared with them.

I hope that you are recovering well from this injury.

Best wishes

Andy
