"My Mother had Pneumonia"

About: North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance Sunderland Royal Hospital / Accident and emergency Sunderland Royal Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as a carer),

My Mother developed Pneumonia and had one visit and two admissions totalling 14 days. She used the A+E admission, the review section and wards D47 and F62 and of course the Ambulance service. She is 88 and confused and requires a great deal of reassurance and explanation. All went very well and all the Staff concerned were fantastic. She has made a full recovery and I am very grateful.
