"In awe at the quality of my care"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency East Surrey Hospital / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

I was referred by my gp in May for an xray as I was having trouble breathing,

the xray showed that one of my lungs had collapsed .I was rushed through to the

Emergency dept.

I have just returned home after spending the last 5 days being treated and I am in

Awe of the quality of my care and feel so humbled by every single person that was

Involved in my treatment and day to day needs.

From the young lady who took the 1st xray, the porters ,the cleaners, the people

Who bring the food round and of course the Dr's and nurses, every single one of

them were truly amazing

Dear ianhl,

Thank you for posting such positive comments about your recent stay at East Surrey Hospital. As you point out it takes a very wide selection of colleagues to deliver great care and we are very lucky to have such a fantastic range of people working for us.

I hope you're now much improved

Kind regards

Ian
