"awful experience for someone with history of..."

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Accident and emergency

all i can say is awful. ambulance staff were great, partner was taken to RAU to be assessed. did ECG straight away by a very rude and ignorant nurse. Was told ECG was fine (ambulance staff said it was not fine).

Within 5 mins, they said he was being discharged to MEDOC, gave him Oramorph and could not get him out quick enough.

sat is MEDOC for nearly 5 hours before seeing a doctor.

the Doctor said he should have been sent to medical care straight away and not palmed off to MEDOC. instead, my partner sat there in constant pain for all this time.

He was then sent back to A&E.

no one bothered to do obs, no one bothered to give him pain relief, in fact, no one bothered with him at all.

he eventually got on the ward another 10 hours later, and they wonder why there are so many complaints? you cannot blame resources with regards to rudeness and ignorance.

they do not cost a thing.
