"edison ward- terrible"

About: Northwick Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was sent by central middlesex hospital to the Edison ward at Northwick Park Hospital to be seen by doctor urgently and ran test as I was in severe pain from night before. But the service and receptionist was terrible. They don’t know what a patient is going through they answer everything by saying “I don’t know”. I waited there for 5 hours straight and was not even sure if anyone is going to see me or not. After half day of waiting I met the dr and his words was “I am not sure if I have to see this patient or she is my next patient” and then he ask me to wait again and have blood test first. I was asking nurse all the time if I had to undergo any test or scan as I am having severe abdominal pain but they don’t have any single idea of what’s going on. It seems like there is lack of communication between doctors nurses everyone works at Edison ward. I haven’t met a single person who serves the patient with attention and kindness. The dr himself was very rude and nurse informed me that dr will see me after blood test result which will took another 3-4 hours.
