I would like to ask the staff to be more accurate with the waiting time to collect perscriptions. I was told 40mins as were many others, and I waited 1hr 25mins! ! ! another lady waited 2hours.. The screen saying when perscription was ready, wasnt working most of the time. This resulted in many people going to the collection window to find out if it was ready. The collection window is the area that the staff manage to avoid all eye contact! Please give more accurate waiting times. Why does it take so long to distribute the medications? ? Patients were getting very fustrated in waiting area, many could be avoided if we were told correct collection times. This has happened numerous times for us, and seems to be getting worse

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that you have had a poor experience on this occasion which involved having to wait longer for your prescription than you anticipated.

The Pharmacy Team have introduced many changes recently to improve the experience for patients and family members including improvements to the waiting room environment, training relating to 'customer care skills' and the importance of good communication and they will be disappointed that you didn't have a good experience. We will share your comments with the Pharmacy Team and they will be keen to remedy the situation.
