"The care and attention received was exemplary"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

Whilst in

Ward A2 for 4 days I received the utmost care and attention from all staff concerned in looking after me and nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They were all very happy and helped to make my stay comfortable. My only concern is the food offered. It is unpalatable. When served it was mostly cold and very soggy. The only edible meal was the salad. Although I realise the NHS has many problems, the meals offered do not help patients to rehabilitate quickly.

Thank you for taking the time to respond following your visit to our hospital. It is always a pleasure for our staff to read comments such as yours and I will ensure they are passed on. I am sorry to hear about the food and will ensure this is also passed to the appropriate person.

Regards
