"Treatment of staff towards me"

About: Chelsea & Westminster Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I was been admitted several times for hyperemisis. once it was clear to staff i have mental health, even though my moods been perfect, some nurses judged me,took anything i said out of context and thought they could write any old notes about me.they also along with a doctor in triage kept saying i was on mental health injections, when i wasnt and despite telling them im not, they wouldnt listen.

I spoke to perinatal team about the mistake made, but despite perinatal team reassuring me nothing was shared with hospital staff,it was for example I'm on injections when I'm not and i got sick of the way some staff treated me.i was transferred to this hospital due to my cardiac problem, which at times was ignored by staff members and my mental health was highlighted over n over again.

i felt so upset at some staff,i asked one of the nurses if i could discharge and go home, one nurse told me to sign a form and then i could go,hower there was one nurse with good empathy skills n understanding which reassured me,i can go the next day,no one will say anything and she will look after me so i stayed.finally i explained to the doctors all throughout my pregnancy my tablets havent worked other then iv fluids and some doctors said you suggest what we can do for you and would bring up my mental health which was very upsetting.

In my previous hospital when i complained of chest pains or heart palpitations, they arranged various tests including 24hour holter monitor which matched what i said,in this hospital when i complained, one doctor sent the nurse to do a ecg and then sent the same nurse to inform me theres nothing wrong with me.

I am so disgusted in some staff members,i will never want to have another baby here again.the staff behaviours I experiences were appalling and judgemental
