"ent docter was very rude"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

The ent doctor that reviewed me was to my shock very rude, he showed no compassion towards my suffering and spoke to me as if he is desperate to throw me out of hospital. It was so scary and upsetting to feel this way in a hospital thats so big and famous. I ended up going home because of how he humiliated me. As a patient i followed his advice despite me telling him time again i am struggling due to my symptoms, but he pushed me anyway to the limit and i went along because i felt i had to prove that i am not well. Ended up almost choking!!! I couldn't breath well and the doctor wanted me to push more food down to dislodge whats stuck, he expressed this through a message and was not even bothered to come and say are you ok! I understand at times doctors can only help you to a extent, but that don't mean they should be rude and push you beyond your capabilities to undergo a trial for food or any other tests. Not to mention the use of a scope pushed through my nose causing so much discomfort and not using a numbing spray. The hospital talks about its principles on compassion and respect well i had experienced none of these with this doctor and i am terrified if i ever have to go into this ward again and if so i would never want to be seen by this doctor again.
