"My Experience Of FTB Finch Road"

Having been under Finch Road for over 2 years now and my experience is that they is not enough staff members for the demand, The Care coordinator approach is failing because staff are not able to phone you back or get hold of a medic to ask for advice. I also feel that having a rule that you can’t speak to the crisis team until you speak to your Care coordinator doesn’t work as you can’t get in touch with your care co ordinator and when you ask to speak to duty they fail to call you back! Action needs to be to be taken to improve staffing levels, retention and training for more specialist conditions.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback of your experience of Finch Road at Forward Thinking Birmingham. We are disappointed to hear that you have experienced a poor service due to the number of staff/ care co-ordinators not being available to speak to. If you wish to discuss this further or have any further concerns in the future with your care and treatment, please do not hesitate to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) who would be happy to help you and resolve your concerns. You contact the PALS service on 0121 333 8403 or alternatively by email on bwc.pals@nhs.net. Best Wishes, Patient Experience Team.
