"It makes my pain disappear"

Coming here gives me the opportunity to meet different people and it makes you realise that each of us has very different needs. I think the benefits of attending a Service like this, well for me anyway, it makes my pain disappear as I'm engaged in what's going on, my brain is active, and I'm not sleeping all day like I do at home. My family think its a great Service to go to as they can see the difference in me. Staff here have great patience with everyone..  If I had to chose one positive aspect about Day Service it has to be the great company.   I know I can be picky when it comes to the menu choice for lunch, but I am pleased that my Key Worker was able to discuss with the school that the  choice of  meals were not that great as it was the same every three weeks and the school agreed to change the menu. This I am grateful for, as the meals have definitely improved.
