"NHS at its best..My Lighthouse"

It would be incredibly easy to focus on the negatives of any public service in these testing times. BHMC is not perfect in any sense except for effort and I think this review would be better served reflecting on the positives.

I first started using BHMC in the early 90's and since then i have been looked after by a number of different Dr's all with the same commitment and dedication, indeed as with the onset of age, wear and tear my needs in recent years have been rather tested to the limit but nonetheless the Dr's have always guided me clear of the rocks and back on course to good health through the extended family of the NHS.

All the nursing team are the unsung heroes in my experience who have helped me through some difficult health issues that on occasion would have taken up valuable Dr appointment space had I not asked the nursing team on scheduled visits.

And so on to the front line staff or the engine room! in my experience these individuals have to put up with so much from the General Public it breaks my heart to see or hear anybody give them a hard time and have to listen or watch them respond politely and courteously without indifference.

BHMC is in my opinion a Lighthouse and we should be grateful and appreciate what we have, believe me there are people in this world that would just be grateful of a paracetamol let alone a world class NHS.
