My 79 year old father attended Larbert Hospital for an endoscopy. From checking into the ambulatory care unit to discharge less than one hour later, we were treated with nothing but kindness.
The male nurse who checked my father in was lovely and explained everything very well and my dad assured me that the team who were within the treatment room were extremely kind, compassionate and took time to explain to him what was happening throughout his procedure. This team included a registrar, Consultant and several nurses. My dad opted to have this done with local anaesthetic spray rather than IV sedation and he encountered no problems with that.
I'd like to offer my sincerest thanks to the whole team for making a slightly anxious man and his daughter feel reassured and well looked after.
"We were treated with nothing but kindness."
