"Surgery experience"

About: Woosehill Practice

I had a large lipoma removed from my head that had been giving me both discomfort and some embarrassment.

The procedure was done under local anesthetic and with the skills of the doctor the removal was carried out swiftly and without pain.

Care was taken to ensure that as little hair loss as possible would occur after the skin was stitched together.

The stitches pulled a little after the anesthetic wore off but the following day there was no pain.

During the procedure the doctor kept me informed of what he was doing.

He was so pleasant and approachable.

I cannot thank him enough for agreeing to do the procedure at the surgery.

His assistant, whom I have been a previous patient of, a nurse, was as cheerful and professional as she always is. It was pleasant to see that there was great teamwork and respect, and very touching to hear the doctor imparting his knowledge to the nurse. It was quite apparent that both the doctor and the nurse enjoyed their work and it gave them great satisfaction to see the patient was truly happy and appreciative of the work they had done.
