"Home delivery"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital

(as the patient),

After having had excellent treatment and care within the hospital I feel this has been let down by the time it has taken for the promised supply of catheter bags to my home address. It took a week following discharge before I received the items and only came about after many phone calls to the ward. I was down to my last catheter bag so found this experience somewhat stressful .

Dear media scot

Many thanks for taking the time to get in touch, I'm so pleased to hear that during your time in hospital the care and treatment was excellent, its just such a shame that you have been let down by the supply of the catheter bags.

I was wondering if I could ask you to get in touch with me, as I would like to make sure that we have the right things in place to ensure that this does not happen again, to do this I need some information from you. You can contact me on 01324 566523 or alternatively you can email me on pauline.donnelly1@nhs.net

I have spoken with a member of staff form the Urology Outpatients Department who advised me of the process and what you should expect and would like to share this information with you.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Kindest regards

Pauline
