I was referred to Inclusion by my GP, after I went to see her to finally talk about having suffered with OCD for years. She referred me to Inclusion in Thurrock. I asked to see a female therapist and Inclusion organised for me to see Rebecca Tinubu for weekly appointments.
My experience has been excellent. I had been suffering with OCD for many years and didn't expect to ever get better, but I have made really significant progress in a short space of time. It was so clear that my therapist completely understood anxiety and OCD. She showed such empathy and kindness that I was able to open up about all my problems. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted and because of the confidence I had in Rebecca, I was able to expose myself to the things I feared and to learn how to refuse to give into my compulsions.
Rebecca went above and beyond her duty to help me get better and even carried out a home visit one week. Thanks to her, I have managed to do things that I never thought I could. Day-to-day life has become easier for me and I have new tools and experiences to draw on to help me manage my condition.
I cannot speak highly enough of the help I've received.
