"Excellent experience with Ellis ward staff"

My brother was admitted to Ellis ward recently. At first I read these reviews and just expected the worst for him, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. They treat family/visitors with kindness and respect on every visit, and my brother felt cared for properly as an in-patient. He had his own private room, got to take part in many different group indoor/outdoor activities, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day, and of course good clinical care. Upon discharge my brother had not one negative thing to say about his experience as an in-patient, which really speaks volumes for Springfield...Thank you to all the team on Ellis ward!

Thank you for taking the time to share your story and experiences of your brother's stay on Ellis ward.

I was so pleased to read that your brother was in receipt of all the hard work that all staff do on a daily basis to ensure that patients have a great experience of care while using our services and that he did not have a negative thing to say. It is encouraging to read that this care and treatment also filtered to you as his family and other visitors too.

Please be assured that I will be forwarding this compliment to the Ellis ward team so that they are made aware.
