"Early Pregnancy Unit - Kennington Ward"

About: William Harvey Hospital / Maternity

Regarding the sensitive nature of the work and patients in this department,, perhaps the staff should be a little more kinder and thoughtful on the phone. After I explained I had a miscarriage which resulted in an a&e visit, the nurse did not ask once “how are you?” or how my body was feeling. I understand staff are stretched but a follow up call once information was received from a&e would have avoided a missed appointment this morning. After my last miscarriage my midwife was not informed by EPU therefore I had a “congratulations on your pregnancy” call. I am dissatisfied with the care received.
