About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

I had a planned masectomy and reconstruction carried out in the day surgery unit and could not fault my care at all. From from being clarked in through to discharge everybody was so friendly and put me at ease, I was told everything that was going to be done and felt well informed. My care in the ward was exceptional, the staff nurses laura and megan kept on top of my pain control well overnight and regularly checked on me, ella and jill also got me anything I needed and jill makes the best tea and toast!

Many thanks for taking the time to get in touch, it was lovely to hear how well you you were looked after all the way through your journey, it must have been a comfort to you having everything explained and being well informed.

I have shared your feedback with the with Jill, Ella, Megan and Laura that you mentioned in your post but also shared it with the wider team in Day Surgery, it really made their day.
