"Very good experience in Urgent Care /..."

About: Ealing Hospital / Accident and emergency

I went directly to ambulatory care, following an appointment with my GP where he suspected a blood clot in my leg. I had a referral letter from the GP which definitely sped things up once I got to urgent care. I have to say the care was very good. The team was obviously busy as normal but the junior doctor and nurses that attended to me were really good. I see I can't name the junior doctor here but she was outstanding. Efficient, sharp, good communications skills and caring. She recognised this was potentially serious and I had blood tests and a scan within the hour. I was out within about four hours with my meds etc. I read a lot of strange reviews on this site but I think treat the staff well and give them respect and you will receive an accordingly good service.

Thank you so much for this great feedback. I am so pleased to hear that you had a good experience and hope that you are well on the mend now.

I will share your feedback with the teams. If you would like a special mention for the junior doctor, please let us have her name or when you attended at LNWH-tr.PATIENTEXPERIENCE@nhs.net and we will let her know.

Thanks again for adding a happy review to the site. We love reading them.

Best wishes

Sue
