"Depression Mental Illness Well-Being"

My story started in earnest 3 years ago. It began with a diagnosis of severe depression. Around a year ago I re-emerged into the world in a much better mental state, thanks to the NHS and support from my family. About 6 months ago, however I started to struggle again and this time I supplemented help from my GP (Ouse Vally Practice), who has been awesome, with some private assistance and also some advice from the Mid-Sussex Wellbeing service.   The advice, support, engagement and signposting to the variety of wellbeing activities available in the county were all extremely helpful in my recovery; I am very grateful to Karen at mid sussex wellbeing for all of these elements. I am now very well, not complacent I hope, but better than I have felt in my life.
