"I don't believe it could have gone any better"

About: Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

I had an Endoscopy at the above, in April 2019 and I was very happy with the way I was treated.

Reception staff were cheerful and helpful. Pre procedure nurse explained all and was happy to show me to the waiting area.

The doctor and two nurses who carried out the procedure carried out their checks and made sure I understood what was to happen.  They carried out the procedure with competence, thoughtfulness, care and humor, reassuring me at all times and on completion made sure I was OK before giving me the paperwork and the post procedure instruction before taking me to the exit.

I don't believe it could have gone any better, they are really caring, pleasant people.

Dear Gravit,

Firstly many thanks for taking the time to leave some feedback on Care Opinion.

Secondly, a huge thanks for your kind words. Sometimes it is very easy to only hear the bad things about the NHS or staff involved, but your kind words have highlighted some of the good and really made our day.

I have passed on your comments to our staff and they are delighted.

Many thanks once again and I hope you are recovering well after your procedure.

Kind regards
