The A'E department is rather a shambles at the moment but i honestly don't think it is any worse than any other major hospital in the UK, however, they really do need to have some more organisation when it comes to patient care, especially the elderly who have no relatives and who are brought in confused and distressed. The other thing that concerns me is patients are shuffled around to upper wards and after 24 hours are moved again to similar wards which are unsuitable with no propers beds for the patients. All this i believe is just to make sure their TARGET is reached, otherwise they face criticism and possible hefty fines, lets hope when the 'new building has been completed, there is going to be a huge change in hospital care, hopefully, in the near future
