"Un fulfilled promises"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Accident and emergency

I came to the royal london emergency department after calling the non emergency helpline. The person on the phone said to go to a&e straight away where I would be seen immediately due to the nature of my problem once there I was forced to wait nearly 45 minutes to get seen by a nurse/doctor. What I don’t understand is why is there a lack of communication between the call centre and the a&e department reagarding the time I had to wait.
