"Phlebitis"

About: The Royal London Hospital / Accident and emergency

Went to the A&E because my leg was so swollen and hot was then transferred to the ambulatory department where I had a Doppler scan and a blood test to rule out a DVT. Thankfully was a superficial blood clot. Was put on heparin injections for 6 weeks and went away. Thank you so much to everyone who helped me that day. I went on to have a Phlebectomy in the same hospital as I was already being seen by the vascular team! 5 star treatment all way around. Thank you & I can now resume my active job comfortably as soon as I recover.
