Hi, I was transferred to St. Andrews hospital 16 days ago, I have not been to Essex before, like all hospitals they are a bit different, being confined in them, in the countryside, to Towns, to the perimeters of the hospital, never the less I have fitted in well with the St. Andrews hospital regime. I have got on well with my peers, staff and two Doctors, there hasn't been any incidents of anybody threatening or assaulting me. I have tried to behave myself as much as possible to set a good example to my peers
My stay at St. Andrews has certainly been a happy experience for me which will remain etched in my memory. I have made new friends. two peers, two staff and two doctors are very sociable and friendly towards me.
I have put myself out to try to be in the main community area as much as possible during my stay, to participate in the gym/sports hall and other activities as often as I could.
Thankyou to everybody at St. Andrews hospital Essex for making me feel one of you.
