the consultant I saw . I felt was very abrupt and wasn't concerned about my dysfunctional Eustachian tube in my ear . I wanted to know if there was anything that could be done about it. He wasn't concerned about the mucus in my right nostril. he looked and said it was clear. even though I had suffered for some time with this problem. I felt he wasn't sympathetic to my requirements , which was to get a bit of help. He said that I hadn't got a perforated ear drum in my left ear. I asked why there was air coming out of my left ear when I performed the Valsalva manoeuvre. he said I was imagining it that the air was coming out of my ear.
. I had previously been diagnosed as having a burst ear drum , and had photographic evidence from the Tarka clinic in Barnstaple.
I saw an expert who solely deals with ear problems.
