(as a carer),

Jo came to our nursery to teach us Makaton signs. We were very nervous to begin with but are confident now and we are now using it in our daily practice. We feel it will help us to communicate with all the children in our nursery and helps the children to communicate with us. Jo was patient and a very good teacher she made the sessions fun and informative, she put all of us at ease.

Thanks for taking the time to post these comments. It is brilliant to hear that you now feel able to use Makaton in your daily practice, and that your confidence with using the signs is growing. I'm sure this will be making a great difference to the children too.
