Visited the unit yesterday for day surgery and wanted to make a review of how brilliant all the staff team were. I had a little wait until my op and the healthcare assistants were great, they were clearly very well organised with the large number of people attending that morning and getting everyone prepared aswell as being very helpful with patients needs.
The surgeon, aneasthetist and nurse were also very caring and thorough, they explained everything clearly, allowed me to discuss any concerns and were very reassuring in personalizing my treatment.
When I went into surgery the aneasthetist and support were extremely nice and explained everything which was very reassuring.
My aftercare was also very good, I was very well looked after with my recovery both nursing and health care assistants. I was a bit dazed but was helped with everything, monitored closely and made a lovely cup of tea.
My whole experience was exceptional, I think the NHS and staff deserve recognition where it is due as they all have to work under a lot of pressure and do their jobs soo well.
Thank you all
