My elderly mother was going for pre op on the Aspen Suite. She had an attack of pain and breathlessness in the car park. No one was around so I rang 999. They supposedly sent someone but after 30 mins I rang the Aspen Suite. Within 5 minutes, the ward manager had collected my mother in a wheelchair and she was being expertly cared for. Thank you for going above and beyond.

We're sorry to hear that your mother was in some discomfort on her way into the hospital, but so glad to hear that the staff on Aspen Suite were able to respond quickly as soon as they were made aware of her situation. Trying to contact the ward she is on now, and the CNS is however a little more problematic. We have been trying for over 1 hour and the phone is just ringing and ringing..cutbacks by any chance?
