"Cortisone and medial branch nerve block..this..."

I have struggled with spinal pain for more than 30 years, I have had cortisone and medial branch nerve block and it has transformed my life. I was unable to sit for more than 10 minutes, I was unable to walk for long periods of time, the stiffness especially during the night and when rising was mostly unbearable, I suffered with regular intense flare-ups a few of them ending up in A & E! Since having these injections I have hardly had any flare-ups, I can sit and walk much more than I could have done for many years and the stiffness has eased and I have increased flexibility.

I can' without doubt recommend this form of treatment as it has simply been life-changing for me. I am sure because I have continued to exercise throughout the process this has helped with the overall outcome but I can honestly say my lower-back has never felt better in my life.

My consultant is very warm, understanding and informative and his work is nothing but amazing.... thank you (I have been a patient of the pain clinic for some years and the whole team are a credit to the NHS) I would be more than happy to speak to anyone about my experiences with pain and the Walton Centre.
