"nobody on phone lines"

About: St Helens Hospital / Dermatology

tried to re-arrange an appointment with the dermatology department but nobody answered the phone. I tried 6 times over 3 days still nothing. got through to appointments eventually and they said they can't re-arrange my appointment because they aren't medically trained?

So tried again and once more got a an automated message to leave my name and number and the appointments department will get back to me. This never happened and the phone kept ringing off at the hospital end. This trust are quick to point out how much it costs when patients fail to attend outpatients but due the their very poor communications it is the trust generating the costs in this case. I would not recommend this hospital based on the reasoning given above about adequately failing to answer the telephone lines..
