"Thank you to the staff on Wellington Ward"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Respiratory medicine

I was admitted to Treliske early hours of 16th February.

I had immediate IV treatment on route and later found out I had Pnemonia.

The staff on Wellington ward were so caring and nothing was too much effort even though I could see they were rushed off their feet and missing breaks .

I cannot praise highly enough all they did for me.

I hope someone tells the member of staff on Wellington what an amazint person he is , Thank you x

Dear Joan

Thank you very much for sharing your recent experience of Wellington Ward when you unfortunately had the need to be admitted in the early hours of 16 February due to pneumonia. My name is Michaela and I work within the Patient and Family Experience Team here at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. I am very sorry for the delay in responding to you on here.

I am happy to read that the staff on Wellington ward were so caring and nothing was too much effort, even during extremely busy periods. I will be sharing your kind words, thanks and praise with the Matron for Wellington Ward and ask that she ensures the team is made aware of your lovely feedback, as I know they will really appreciate it.

Thank you again and I hope that you are now recovering well from your recent inpatient stay.

With best wishes

Michaela Brewer, Patient Experience Coordinator
