"My father in law has fallen off the waiting list"

My father in law is 90 yrs has severe psoriasis and has been waiting foe an appointment for 3 weeks.   He had asked to be referred from Monklands Hospital to Hairmyres as it is more convenient.   When he phoned to ask when his appointment would be he was told by Monklands that he had fallen off the waiting list so had not been referred and would now have to wait another 4 weeks for an appointment.   His skin is now causing him extreme discomfort and seems to be affecting his eyes.   He also looks after his wife who has mobility issues.   An earlier appointment is urgent.
