"C-section operation and recovery"

About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

(as the patient),

Booked in for an elective c-section at NSECH in Cramlington. Had a very positive experience from start to finish. Staff were informative and the care was excellent. Had support with breastfeeding from several staff members that was invaluable and helped enormously with future breastfeeding (which is continuing now). Can’t thank the staff enough for the very positive experience during such an emotional rollercoaster that birth is. Thanks!

Dear LMother,

Firstly many congratulations on the birth of your little one, what a precious time for you and your family.

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with us. I appreciate it is not always easy to find time to give feedback when you’re adapting to life with a new baby.

It’s great to know that your caesarean went so smoothly and that our staff have been able to leave you with such fond memories of delivery to reflect on for many years to come. I’m also pleased that our practical support with breast feeding has helped, and that you’re well on your way with this. It’s such an important start to give your baby if you can.

Wishing you all the very best,

Annie
