"Mum's recent stay Ward 16"

About: Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

My elderly mother was recently admitted to Ward 16 at Milton Keynes Hospital. Staff on the ward were professional, efficient and generally pleasant. However, having the same doctor visit each morning would be more reassuring for the patient.

I am sorry to say that on the whole, the quality of the main meals was poor - not helped because most of the time they were lukewarm or even cold by the time they were brought to the bed. Some of the patients were very elderly and I noted ate little or nothing. I believe this inevitably leads to them becoming weaker and does not help their recovery. This situation could and should be remedied.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about the care your mother received whilst she was on Ward 16. We are glad to hear that the staff looked after her well and were pleasant throughout her stay. We will take your feedback on board and work to making changes from your suggestions. Once again thank you for taking the time to tell us about your care.
