What I liked
The fantastic consultant, the skilled, and well trained and brilliant surgeon, the nursing staff, everyone on PICU, other technical and support staff.
What could be improved
People moaning about the NHS.
Anything else?
It seems so easy to knock the NHS, and yet without the NHS delivering free healthcare so many people would simply die. It's not a hotel, why do people assume it would be like one.
We regularly go to Paediatric Cardiology with our (now) 5 year old. She has had many open heart bypass surgery procedures, and countless visits to her wonderful consultant, and many stays in intensive care and Ward 32. It is amazing! It's free, it's life saving, and the staff are amazing.
We recognise the NHS is not perfect, but if you keep moaning and putting negative comments on here, then the politicians will use that as more reason to close the NHS. Can you really afford to pay directly for that operation, or the procedure that your surprisingly good value health insurance won't actually cover?
"What an amazingly civilised society to provide top..."
