"End of life care"

About: End of life care / Marie Curie nursing General practices in Lanarkshire Lanarkshire Community Services / Community Nursing Service

(as a relative),

I would like to highlight the excellent end of life care that my dad received in his own home recently.

The health and social care professionals involved ensured that we as a family were able to keep dad at home.

I have a background in palliative care so had high expectations which were exceeded time and time again!

The professionalism, care, and integrated care made a awful situation the best it could possibly be.

The intensive team of carers from North Lanarkshire Council, district nursing team, macmillan nurse and Marie Curie Nursing Service supported dad but also us as a family.

Very caring and compassion group of professionals and they should be very proud!
