I had a fantastic experience recently when going for an ultrasound within the Radiology department at the Northern General Hospital. I was left feeling respected, empowered and reassured.

The administrative system was smooth and efficient, I didn't have long to wait at all. Both health professionals introduced themselves to me with their names, roles and what they were going to do. They explained every step really clearly and made me feel like I could say no if I didn't want to participate. They reassured me during the process and overall created a positive and calm environment.
