In late 2017 I was rushed to St George’s Hospital by Ambulance after suffering from a bout of Tachycardia (Fast Heart Rate!). I was taken into Resus and had many Blood Tests done then Transferred to Adult Dependancy Unit. The next day I had some Oncology Doctors come to see me who gave me the devastating news that I have Leukaemia.
I was taken up to the Ruth Myles Ward in St George’s Hospital but I also asked the staff if I could be taken to The Royal Marsden Hospital in Sutton because it was nearer to my Family and Friends, So a few days later I was transferred there and I am still currently undergoing treatment for it.
Just like to thank the staff in Resus and on the Ruth Myles Ward for their swift actions in a cruel diagnosis situation.
