What I liked
From start to finish the dermatology clinic were superb. The doctor has great knowledge of dermatological issues and went out of her way to both diagnose the cause of a minor problem on my scalp and to review which treatment options were best for me. I had a 'benign eccrine hidradenoma' which I think is a sweat gland that has gone funny and has a crusty spot on the top
The doctor explained the options very well and we agreed that the item would be removed and this was done with great skill by another doctor. I particularly liked the fact that the two doctors discussed my case and agreed a plan between them. The doctor even drew a little diagram to show how the item would be removed and where the stiches would go
I felt that at all times the dermatology clinic and doctors were really interested in my case and really cared about the outcome. I also chatted to a few older patients in the waiting room and they were equally impressed with the way they were treated.
When I went back to have my stitches out both doctors came in and both took professional satisfaction that such a positive outcome had been achieved
Fortunately I have had very limited experience of hospitals but all I can say is that if anyone has cause to go to the dermatology clinic at Watford General they will be in expert and caring hands and will get the best possible outcome
What could be improved
Nothing. All fantastic
Anything else?
As above, all excellent
"The best possible expterise, advice, care and..."
