"It is so good when someone really understands"

(as a service user),

I had a call from Sarah, from the incontinence service at Mill Hill.

She was good; caring, supportive, she really understood what was going on for me, with my worries and all that. But she was just lovely, and made me feel like I wasn't a nuisance.

You dread when someone comes to see you because you never really know, and this is embarrassing enough. But it was so good when someone really understands.

Sarah is one of our highly skilled Continence Health Care Assistants. She is really good at coming alongside patients and her caring friendly nature helps people understand that we are there to support them.

I am so pleased you have had such a positive experience and hope the help and advice you have been given reduces your anxiety and improves your symptoms.
