(as a service user),

I enjoyed the company and meeting different people. I enjoyed listening to other people's problems. I made a good friend since attending. We have lots of things in common. We now visit each other's houses and go to lunch and the garden centre. I enjoyed the exercise group as it gets my body going. I also the complementary therapy. I also enjoy the crafts. I would like there to be more music and entertainment as it livens up the afternoon. I would like to have been given more notice when I was discharged from Friday group as I would like to have said goodbye. I would like to see more people attending the drop in group.

We are pleased you have benefited from the Woodgrange Service and have made a friend that you meet outside of the hospice

Thank you for your suggestions for improvement.

Regarding your suggestion for music and entertainment; we ask the opinion of all attendees and try to meet the need of the majority.

Currently we offer phased discharge from the service aimed to be tailored to the needs of each individual. We are sorry if you feel we did not meet this need. We will feedback your concerns to the team.

We are currently reviewing the drop in group with the aim of increasing attendance
