"The excellent care I have received"

I should like to draw to your attention the excellent care I have received from Kings College Hospital, particularly from the dermatology, surgery and haematology departments.

Dr Bashir, in dermatology, has been wonderful in his diagnoses, professionalism, and friendly approachability and in his successful treatment of my various skin issues over many years.  Prompt diagnosis and treatment have prevented issues from becoming much more serious.  The nurses and admin staff are also first class and could not be more helpful or competent, often going well beyond the call of duty. I consider myself really fortunate to have DrBashir as my Consultant Dermatologist and will always be so grateful to him.

Then there is Dr Galata who without doubt, with his associates, saved my life by performing an emergency operation after very patiently dealing with my initial lack of cooperation induced by fear. I shall always be so grateful, both to Dr Galata, the other doctors and surgeons and the nursing staff who looked after me so well for so many weeks as well as to the follow up nurses.

Special thanks, too, to Anna, Nicky and Cathy for all their help, efficiency and empathy. And to Jacqui, who, although attached to Bromley and not to Kings, has provided invaluable help, information and advice over the last three years.  The specialist nursing skills of these four ladies is remarkable.
