Although this surgery has nurses and its website states that it holds a dressings clinic (without referral being required) - which we have used in the past, we were informed that it no longer deals with wounds and dressings - only the removal of stitches.
The local hospital advised us to go to our surgery for an A&E dressing to be checked but this surgery said it no longer provides a dressings clinic and suggested that we go to Finchley Memorial Walk-In Centre - a 45 minute bus ride away where we are still waiting to be seen two hours after arriving!
A unilateral change of policy is bad enough but the frustration is further compounded by the website containing out of date information.
