What I liked

I was referred to Derriford by my GP in December 2011. At every stage of my treatment I was treated with the utmost professionalism and care. This was my first impatient visit to Derriford and I had six outpatient appointments prior to a total hysterectomy.

What could be improved

A small point . The staff were very busy working extremely hard all morning to get everything up to date before visiting once visitors arrived they could have thought that staff had little to do which was totally untrue.I know when I have visited in the past I got the impression that staff stood around the nurses station and didn't seem busy. How wrong I was.

Anything else?

I am very grateful to all staff for the utmost care they gave me I feel I have been very lucky indeed to have been treated at Derriford with special thanks to all on Norfolk ward.
