"Rude and insensitive receptionist"

I rang to make an urgent appointment with a female doctor explaining that I had found a lump in my breast only to be told the next available appointment was over a 3 week wait away. I asked if there was a cancellation list or emergency appointment but the receptionist cut me off and told me I could try at 9 the following day but I was unlikely to get an appointment. The receptionist was very blunt and ended the call quite bluntly without offering any help whatsoever. I actually felt like crying. Such a shame as the doctors when you do get to see them are all lovely
